Breathe Again,

I’m sitting here on my couch watching the fire blaze in my fireplace and gazing at the lights on my Christmas tree. It’s beautiful, it’s peaceful and it’s quiet. The babies are tucked away in their beds and the older kids are upstairs playing their games until bedtime. This, is my me time! It’s a time of reflection, a time of prayer, a time to write, a time to study the Word. It’s the time of day, that I get to do the things I really treasure doing and without any disturbances!

I wanted to share a verse with you since it seems to be fitting for this time of year right now.

NIV  Zechariah 1:3

“Therefore tell the people: This is what the Lord Almighty says: Return to me, declares the Lord Almighty, and I will return to you, says the Lord Almighty.”

There will be times in your life that it will feel as if God has up and left you right in the middle of your mess.  We feel like at times God leaves us to just “figure it out for ourselves”.  God has nevere and would never leave you to just figure it out.  Jesus didn’t come all that way, go through all that temptation, suffer through all that pain.  He didn’t write you the greatest love letter ever written to man, just to leave you where He already knew you would be before He ever went to the cross!

Take a moment and just breathe. When life feels to heavy for you to go, or the situation isn’t chaning. When you’re tired of fighting this great fight. Just Breathe. After that, refocus your mind. When God says “Return to me” what do you think He means? Worship, Trust, Prayer, Sacrafice and last but most certainly not least LOVE Him!

So, if you’re feeling a little lost inside yourself tonight. If you’re problems are still there and it feels as though your prayers aren’t going anywhere, keep praying! Keep talking. Keep speaking life over yourself. Prophesy unto those dry bones. God can still hear you. Sometimes, He’s just waiting on us to get where He needs us to be before He can answere that prayer!

Stay focused. Stay postive and keep the faith sisters! God’s got this!
